time-sheet tool

This custom tool was created with EASA in less than a day. It allows the user to report hours spent on various projects, and replaces an old Excel-based system.

The application facilitates time reporting for the user, with time-saving features such as error checking and automatic archiving of submissions. Finally, the appropriate manager can use the tool to approve submitted time-sheets, and to forward them to accounting.

This automated process is less time-consuming, less error-prone, and far easier to maintain than the original Excel-based process. It offers advantages such as version control, and pull-down lists of current job numbers which are populated by a central database. The removes the need to deploy a new spreadsheet everytime a new job number is created.
